Antique Victorian 1897 English Sterling Silver Single Corinthian Column Candlestick with Rams Heads

A beautiful single Victorian Corinthian column hallmarked candlestick. Features a classic design with an elaborate capital decorated with scrolls and acanthus leaves, a fluted column, and a stepped base with four ram’s heads, leaf swags, and acanthus borders. The original removable sterling silver drip tray is stamped with matching hallmarks to the base. All parts are fully hallmarked. The base is weighted for stability, as is typical of antique silver candlesticks from this period. HALLMARKS: Sheffield, SILVER fineness 925.
