Description
Offered for your consideration is this antique coin purse dating circa 1880. This purse measures 7.5 cm in width by a maximum of 6 cm in height. The purse has plain mother of pearl panel to the back and very detailed carved mother of pearl front in high relief featuring a seated lady in pastoral setting. The purse has firm closure and clasp and opens to a 3 sectioned concertina interior in red paper and silk.
This antique purse is offered in good condition with no damage to the mother of pearl surfaces. The interior has some normal age usage and a few holes at one of the folded sides. Thank you for looking.
