We are delighted to offer this fabulous late 19th Century (c.1890) Victorian antique citrine and seed pearl ring made. Immediately upon first glance, the citrine's transparent yet rich honey-like colour captivates the eye. Surrounding the central faceted citrine, a cluster of white seed pearls encompass it and contrasts the overall yellow tone of the gems and gold setting wonderfully. The craftsmanship is typically Victorian with a high degree of finesse and intricacy throughout; the mounts are very fine and do not obstruct the gemstones. The 'shoulders' of the ring are also delightful with a bifurcated naturalistic leaf design as if to support and raise the cluster flower design on top. The hollow back of the mount allows for the citrine to glisten in its true beauty under the sun/natural lighting - the clarity and different hues of yellow and orange come to life upon wearing and viewing from different angles. Overall, a wonderful addition to any jewellery collection, whether be it for wearing as a single standout piece or amongst other antique pieces.
