Antique Victorian Diamond Drop Earrings, 15ct Gold

A truly stunning pair of antique, Victorian era, 15ct yellow gold and diamond drop earrings. Beautiful, bright and vibrant gold scrolling drops in a teardrop shape with a large articulated gold bead to the top centre. At the base of each teardrop, nestled between the scrolls, there is a sparkling old cut diamond, from the base of the diamonds there is a further articulated pendulum drop, giving the earrings lots of shimmery movement. The diamonds are vibrant and bright with a lovely play of colour when hitting the light. The earrings have an ear wire fitting. They are unmarked, test as 15ct gold, late Victorian era, c1880s Condition: Very good used condition overall, minor signs of use and wear, extremely well kept, one dark mark on the reverse of one earring.
