The brooch features a very intricate yet well crafted design of a buckle set with diamonds and pearls. The endearing and novelty appearance is distinctly Victorian and presents a wonderful combination of playfulness whilst also displaying an impressive level goldsmithing and gem setting. Modest & elegant in size and colour, it is ideal to wear with a variety of clothes in all seasons whether be it on a blouse or a coat lapel in the winter. Furthermore, a chain could be looped behind the pin to wear it as a pendant too (we would recommend using a stopper to ensure extra security). The pendant is unmarked as is common with articles of this period and as such we have tested it for gold indicating 18ct gold.
