Description
This is a charming 19th Century Victorian antique period pedestal desk in mahogany. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1860s-1880s.
It is a useful size, quite compact for a pedestal desk, yet still offering ample work space and quite a wide knee hole space. The top has a gorgeous tooled leather surface, there are nine generous drawers with turned mahogany handles. This sits on a plinth base with original casters, the back is also nicely finished so this can be used as a free standing item.

condition
We have recently had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. There are various small marks here and there beneath the polish, the overall colour tone and patina is gorgeous.
