This is a beautiful antique Victorian hallmarked Scottish sterling silver teapot weighing 738.3 grams / 23.7 troy oz and measuring 11" (28 cms) across from handle to tip of spout x 6 3/4" (17 cms) tall.
It's hallmarked for Edinburgh 1862 with the silversmiths mark for W.J.McDonald.
The teapot is nice and clean inside making it perfectly usable and holds 2 3/4 pints.
It has beautiful decoration, is in excellent condition with no repairs, damage or inscriptions and perfectly usable today .
