This is a fine set of antique sterling silver postal scales made by Cohen & Charles and hallmarked in Birmingham 1899. They are in very good condition and hallmarks are clearly struck. The scales sit firmly on a rectangular scalloped base and are in working order. The ivorine scale to the front is a little worn but quite readable. Overall a very nice set of Victorian household postal scales.
