This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver fish cutlery set for twelve persons has been crafted in the Queens pattern.
The blade of each knife has a broad incurved shaped form and the forks have four tines.
The surface of the fork drops and the knife blades are each embellished with impressive paralleling tooled borders.
The surface of each fork and knife handle is ornamented with the classic Queen's pattern ornamentation, including a convex shell design to the terminal, in addition to the scroll bordered honeysuckle and rosette design.
Each handle terminal of this boxed flatware incorporates the contemporary engraved initials 'Mg'.
This service is fitted to the exceptional, fine and impressive hinged mahogany presentation box with a velvet lined interior.
The cover of the box is embellished with a shaped vacant brass cartouche to the centre.
This exceptional fish cutlery set was crafted by the renowned silversmiths Hamilton & Inches.
