This is an exceptional, fine and impressive, miniature antique Victorian English sterling silver teapot in the Chinoiserie style; an addition to our silver teaware collection This exceptional and rare antique Victorian sterling silver miniature teapot has a cuboid shaped form. The body of this silver teapot is embellished with impressive embossed panels of Chinoiserie style ornamentation, depicting plum blossom and foliage designs on a matte background. Each panel features a plain silver border, incorporating four bracket style feet to the lower portion. This antique silver teapot is fitted with a hinged cover ornamented with further embossed decoration and surmounted with the original floral decorated finial. The teapot is fitted with a fine and impressive swept handle incorporating stylised blossom designs. This exceptional miniature silver teapot features a panelled swan necked spout accented with further floral designs to the lower portions.
