The anterior and posterior surfaces of the handle is embellished with the classic Queen's pattern ornamentation, includes a convex shell design to either side of the terminal, in addition to the honeysuckle and rosette design*. This exceptional Victorian silver soup ladle has a plain rounded bowl with an impressive honeysuckle design to the heel. This exceptional and desirable ladle, crafted by the renowned female silversmith Mary Chawner, is one of the finest of its type you could hope to acquire. This antique sterling silver ladle is a superior gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. The Queen's pattern decoration is very sharp. Full hallmarks struck to the reverse are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the superior gauge of silver.
