A fine and impressive antique Victorian English sterling silver sugar / bon bon bowl; an addition to our dining silverware collection
This fine antique Victorian sterling silver sugar bowl has a plain circular rounded form.
The surface of this antique bon bon/sugar bowl is plain and embellished, with an impressive applied egg decorated border to the rim.
This Victorian sugar bowl is fitted with two exceptional chased decorated figural handles with scrolling leaf decorated lower sockets; each character is grasping the edge of the bifurcating, scrolling upper terminal.
The bowl is supported by a circular spreading foot onto four chased decorated lion feet.
The foot of the bowl is embellished with a further applied egg decorated border.
