Antique Victorian Stripped Pine Housekeeping Larder Cupboard Pantry

This is a versatile Victorian pine cupboard which dates to the late 19th century. Made of solid pitch pine the cupboard is very heavy and solid and could serve a variety of uses in any home. It is ideal for use as a kitchen larder or perhaps as a housekeeping cupboard for linens and bedding. The cupboard has a rustic country look which will suit a farmhouse or cottage, the perfect piece of furniture for anyone who loves well aged pine. To the front are double panelled doors which open to reveal three fixed pine shelves, the doors stayed closed with small internal door catches. The top is finished with a graduated top plinth and the base has a deep plinth. The wood has a stripped natural looking finish which has a fairly matt finish.
