Description
This is an antique wall gong. An English, oak and bronze dinner chime in Art Nouveau taste, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.
Delightful Art Nouveau piece, with an elegant form and finish. Displays a desirable, lightly time-worn appearance. Striking bronze support arm with a prominent scrolled gong support. Mounted upon an oak backplate with warm caramel hues.
Hand beaten bronze gong suspended upon a leather strap. Presents a prominent tone, ideal for catching the attention of guests. Replete with cork ball striker upon a turned beech handle. Integrated striker rest resides at the base of the mount.
This is a fascinating antique wall gong, with an elegant appearance. A charming Art Nouveau piece, delivered ready to mount.
