Penderyn Antiques are a family run business residing in an old Welsh chapel in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park. We source and restore a wide range of furniture, antiques, interiors and collectables. We have no specific style that we adhere to, (if we like it, we’ll buy it!) but we do have a keen interest in early Welsh country furniture and unusual decorative items.
At Penderyn Antiques, we express an indebtedness to those nameless joiners who worked with wood so long ago before plastics and the age of automation. For in building furniture with integrity; so that it will last hundreds of years, they have been our mentors. Their work remains a testament to their commitment to their craft and excellence. Wood is the most used of all our natural resources. We have a duty to recycle, reuse, adapt and preserve it. We must use wood to create furniture that has longevity and combat the ‘throwaway’ society…even though it does grow on trees..”

Description
This is a well detailed and attractive antique Victorian walnut framed drawing room chair. The antique walnut drawing room chair has an upholstered seat, back, and armrests, with carved detail throughout the frame. The antique drawing room chair is raised on four white castors, with the seat height being quite low to the ground. A rather pleasing antique armchair.

condition
In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and dents to the frame at the arms, legs and back (pictured). There have also been two honest repairs to the arms (pictured), however this doesn’t affect the integrity of the chair. The upholstery is in good condition although there are minor stains in unnoticeable areas (pictured). The antique walnut drawing room chair remains structurally solid and sound. Overall, an attractive Victorian armchair.
Our carpenter inspects, repairs, and restores our items, so you can have full confidence that what you buy from us is ready for your home!

Timescale: 5-15 working days. You will receive full delivery details once your order has been placed. For Scotland, delivery may take longer than 15 working days. Please note, the courier service is to the external doorstep, the courier will also deliver on their own so you will need to arrange for someone to help your end.

Delivery Exemptions: We do not deliver to areas outside of mainland UK (i.e Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Channel Islands and Scilly Isles).

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered and a collection fee of £60 will apply, this would be deducted from any refund amount.
