Bidganeh, Zanjan, North West Persia (1900-1925 Period). Kelleh sized long rug from one of the many villages of the Zanjan area. Abrashed salmon red ground with captivating geometric medallion and arrow pointed ends, with harshang (Crab) border pattern see images for further reading on the Crab pattern. Handwashed and de-dusted. All sides and ends secured. all over low pile with some tinting to the salmon ground, sympathetically restored country house carpet.
