19th Century teak military campaign chest by Army and Navy company as taken to war by serving officers in the Victorian period, folding handles and brass corners to protect from damage, splits into two sections for carrying purposes and still retains its original legs (these are usually missing or replaced). The condition is very good for its age and the fact that it would have seen use on the battlefields of the world in the 19th and early 20th century. Very well-made with Hobbs locks and teak lined drawers, some marks as shown in the pictures but no splits or cracks this is a wonderful and historic piece of furniture.
