Art Deco 1920s Carl Schneider German Porcleain Flapper Lady Pin Cushion Half Doll

On offer is this sensational, Art Deco pin doll measuring approx 9cm in height. This half doll is marked on the base with the impressed numbers 15404 and is also marked Germany and I believe she is manufactured by the Carl Schneider factory. This lovely flapper girl has beautiful glossy black bobbed in hair in which she wears a blue headband decorated to the front with pink flowers over her forehead. She wears a very risque blue backless halter neck top but it is her pose that makes her outstanding. She has both arms held aloft with elbows pointing upwards and the hands reaching behind her neck with her head thrown back and chin held high. One hand is just touching the top of her back with the points of her fingers whilst the other hand rests lightly on the other wrist. Both arms are separate from the head and this is quite a complicated mould.
