Stunning Art Deco hallmarked solid silver christening mug or small tankard. Full Birmingham hallmark with the date letter for 1932 and the makers mark for Sanders & Mackensie of Spencer Street, Birmingham, right in the middle of the famous jewellery quarter. Engine turned decoration around the body inset with the very geometric deco panels. If Deco is your thing this little mug is a must for your collection. The silver weight is 96 grams, a really good weight for a mug this size. Apologies for any reflections in the pictures, these are not marks in the silver. No added engraving to any part of the mug. Will be delivered in a tissue lined gift box. Happy to answer any questions.
Stands 3 inches 7.5 cm tall, 2 1/2 inches 6.3 cm in diameter at the rim and 3 5/8 inches 9.2 cm handle to rim.

Excellent condition. Hardly used with the internal gilding being as good as new. Minor surface marks as you'd expect but no damage or repairs.
