Art Deco Aladin French Powder Pot with Swans Down Puff, 1920s

Art Deco 1920s ceramic powder bowl, signed to the base Aladin Made in France. This figural powder pot features a ceramic powder bowl and lid decorated with large blooms on a blue ground. The lid has hole at the centre through which emerges a powder puff topper in the form of a stylised flapper lady mounted on a red silk covered swans down powder puff. Condition is very good, colours are bright, there is no crazing to the glaze and there is a small chip to the underside of the pot lid. The swans down powder puff is by its very nature quite fragile and some minor shedding. The silk top is in good order. I have added some bubble wrap to the inside of the base to lift the puff as when full of powder the puff would stand higher.
