Art Deco Desktop Barometer

This is a lovely desktop barometer in the classic Art Deco style. The movement set into a circular 6mm thick clear acrylic disc with a chrome base and bezel. Probably manufactured just after Wold War 2 by Smiths Industries and retailed by Allen, Sons & Co. Ltd, of Bedford. The barometer has been fully overhauled and cleaned. The original printed dial on these barometers always faded over the years and this one has been sympathetically matched with a more detailed and informative design of the same period. This working instrument will grace any location, especially a desktop or prominent display shelf.
