Description
On offer is this fine quality pendant powder compact made of solid silver and fully hallmarked to the inside of the powder well with London import marks for 1926 and importers marks GS for George Stockwell. This powder compact measures a petite 4 cm in diameter.
This powder compact has a fixed bale and ring to the top so that it could be hung from a chain or chatelaine. The compact has wonderful double-sided blue guilloche enamel with wavy sunray pattern. The lid has firm hinge and secure catch and opens to reveal a perfectly clear and reflective framed convex mirror. The open powder well in the base is gilded.
