Description
A lovely Art Deco cased set of silver handled cutlery from the Sheffield cutler and silversmith Charles William Fletcher. Charles William Fletcher [C W Fletcher & Sons] was registered in May 1894 at the Sterling Works, Sheffield.
In 1907 the company acquired Brewis & Co, a London Silversmiths which resulted in C W Fletcher becoming a limited company. In 1908 the company consolidated in Sheffield and was taken over in March 2002, now being known as Fletcher Robinson Ltd
