Art Nouveau Lavalier Pendant, 9ct Gold, Amethyst & Seed Pearl

A stunning antique, Art Nouveau era lavalier pendant. A fine and beautiful piece, very well made with the typical Art Nouveau gold, open scrollwork design. The pendant is adorned with various shaped cuts of deep purple amethyst and lovely creamy seed pearl, the centre is designed as a flower with two arching stems above. It has an articulated amethyst drop from the bottom and an attractive shell shaped bale. Marked 9ct on the integral bale, tests as 9ct gold, Art Nouveau era. It suspends from a small length of gold chain with a gold plated jump ring attached. Condition: Very good used condition overall, replacement jump ring for suspension, likely had a built in necklace originally.
