This wonderful and unusual Edwardian silver mounted crocodile skin bears the marks of Ludwig Krumm, silver mounter. The black crocodile skin purse with a sinuous floral silver mount, very much in the Art Nouveau mannerT. he silver clasp is fully functioning and opens to reveal four "accordeon" compartments. Additional front pocket. Hallmarks: L.K for Ludwig Krumm. Birmingham Assay Mark. Lion Passant. Date letter "a" for 1900.

Crocodile skin in average condition. Glossy but one corner a little frayed. Silver corners and clasp in very good condition. Interior a bit worn and tired.
