Arts and Crafts antique silver and enamel powder bowl, A E Jones 1922

A stunningly beautiful antique silver and enamel powder puff bowl. Made in Birmingham in 1922 by the famous silversmith A E Jones. Albert Edward Jones was trained at the Birmingham School of Art and started his own business in 1902. He specialised in hand planished silver and copper pieces both using roundels from the Ruskin Pottery as seen in this piece. The removable lid and the main body have crisp hallmarks.
