A fine looking Arts & Crafts armchair with a reclining feature and sitting in English oak. We have a registration stamp to the frame, likely Shapland and Petter.
The chair currently sits in a worn and marked patterned Mackintosh woven jacquard fabric and our upholsterer Mark would be happy to fully reupholster at a cost of £380 plus VAT and you would require around 4 metres of fabric which we are happy to assist in sourcing etc. The lighter oak frame has historic aging and as mentioned offers a light reclining motion if you wish to chill.
A good looking Arts & Crafts armchair c.1910.
