Description
This is a framed Arts & Crafts embroidery of a peacock on a branch with some foliage in a period oak Arts & Crafts frame. All appears to be original. Signed on the back with the embroiders name and the framer. Presumably the same family. One can imagine the amount of work/hours that went into this painstaking small work of art. Great vivid colours. The Peacock was used extensively in Arts & Crafts for design and decoration .
