This is an interesting English oak settle with an RAF history having a label to the rear, AM Air Ministry Naffi. Perfect for a hallway or dining room, this well shaped settle is age worn and with a handsome stance. The piece benefits from an ample deep seat compared to most and well sized ends, perfect for putting on one's shoes or eating at. We do have a green vinyl full length seat cushion which we are happy to pass on to the purchaser. Our upholsterer quoted £245 plus fabric around 3 meters for a new cushion for the seat if you required this service. As mentioned, the condition is good with day to day wear to the oak to all parts. We do have marks to the back as well, probably from being against a wall. The frame is strong and stable. A handsome looking English settle.
