Arts & Crafts Solid Oak Open Bookcase

P0327 English antique Arts & Crafts solid oak bookcase of narrow proportions, having single piece of timber, oversailing top above a shallow frieze with stylish Arts and Crafts decorative brackets and three height adjustable shelves, one additional, unoriginal and with a slightly different front edge which doesn''t affect its functionality, all flanked by fluted pilasters. The bookcase having single plank sides also in solid oak, terminating in shaped feet united by an apron. This antique bookcase has been cleaned and it retains its wax finish. No cracks, no splits, no woodworm. The bookcase has been very well looked after over the years and is in home ready condition. c1900
