This is a handsome looking early 20th Century oak Arts & Crafts settle with attractive slatted slides and back with a comfortable upholstered seat and back. This one of smaller proportions would fit into a period property or more modern setting with ease. It's a well crafted piece with its unfussy elegant lines, slatted sides and backs and well proportioned simple shaped arms. The settle sits firm with no wobbles and the damask velvet fabric although worn is usable and to be honest it's growing on us.
