These stunning, fine and impressive antique emerald earrings have been crafted in 18k white gold.
The pierced decorated, cluster settings are each ornamented with a feature oval cut Colombian emerald, four-claw set in slight relief to the centre of the design.
The emeralds are each encircled by eight claw set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds, totalling 2.60ct.
The earrings, for pierced ears, secure to the reverse with the original threaded post and screw fastening.
These antique emerald and diamond earrings are hallmarked to the fastenings with the maker's mark (HW), the 18k gold mark ( 750 ) and the Austrian domestic gold mark (elephant's head, 3 - 750 standard); the earrings have been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 karat gold.
These impressive antique earrings are supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card, in addition to an emerald report card and certificate supplied by the Gemmological Certification Services, London*.

NOTE: * This documentation accredits the emeralds originating in Colombia (Colombian) and certifies that the gemstone shows moderate amount of oil in fissures.
'Rather than regarding inclusions in coloured stones as harmful, in small sizes and numbers that do not in any way detract from their beauty, they should be regarded as adding to desirability, for they provide identifying characteristics.'
