Avia Wrist Watch 1970s Ladies 14ct White Gold Plated Blue Dial Original Box FWO

Ladies high grade 17 jewel Swiss 'Avia' wrist watch with fabulous summer blue gradient dial in a 14ct white gold plated (professionally tested) case with integral bark effect bracelet strap. Complete with her original Avia box. Looks to have never been worn (probably always kept in the box) and is in full working order, keeping excellent time, having been recently serviced by my long established watch repairer (now in his 80's). (Please excuse all the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures as was extremely difficult to photograph). DIAL: Highly attractive summer blue gradient dial (reflects the light beautifully) which is in mint condition - absolutely no hairlines, marks or fading. Clearly stamped in bold white script; AVIA 17 JEWELS INCABLOC and stamped in white script to base of dial; SWISS MADE. Raised white baton stick markers with original white delphine hour and minute hands both of which are in straight, un-marked order. Domed original rectangular crystal in super condition free from any scratches, marks or chips. CASE: Original bright mirror finish 14ct white gold plated bark effect case which measures 1.6cm width (excluding the winder). In excellent condition with no wear, indentations or scratches. Has a stainless steel, highly polished, slightly engine turned snap on back cover which closes tightly with a very reassuring click. MOVEMENT; Top grade Swiss 17 jewel fire gilt lever movement which is stamped to the top plates; Swiss 17 JEWELS. Original crisp winding crown which is free from any wear. Takes a very full and smooth wind. Hand set operates correctly. STRAP: Complete with the original integral 14ct white gold plated engine turned, bark effect bracelet strap (measures 18cm / 7 " total length) which is clearly numbered to the back; 882301 and has a very secure fold over clasp which operates correctly. BOX: Original large (hard case) textured faux leather black box with black velvet base and ivory coloured silk to the internal lid which is clearly stamped in gold script; AVIA. Lovely condition with just a little (micro) bit of drawer wear commensurate with age. APPRAISAL: A Ladies highly attractive Swiss wrist watch with original box all in super condition.
