Description
Baluch Afghan/Persian rug, approximately 7'10" x 3'7", dating from the mid 20th Century. The rose pink coloured field with two columns of octagonal güls enclosed by borders of angular vines. A old hand knotted rug made of high quality wool with fringes to the ends. An attractive rug, in good condition, and ready for use. Dimensions: This rug measures approximately 208.5cm long including the fringes, and 110cm wide. Condition: Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This rug is in a good condition, commensurate with its age. The pile is good, as are the fringes. Little fading throughout, with the very end of one of the ends with further fading. Good shape for a hand woven rug. Presents very well. Vacuumed, deodorised, and treated for moth prevention. Clean and ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
