Bamboo Bangle Sterling Silver 1963 Vintage Wide Bracelet 7"L

Fabulous Vintage solid English Sterling silver (Birmingham assay) very attractive and highly impressive wide and chunky bamboo bangle/bracelet. C~1963. (Please excuse all the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph). Measures; 7" internal circumference, 9mm width and weighs a very respectable 14.9 grams. Beautifully adorned all around with an extremely detailed, highly polished, slightly raised bamboo decoration which is as bright and crisp today as the day it was made. Secure push in 'cockrel combe' clasp which opens correctly, closing tightly with a very reassuring click and strong hinge to the opposite side is true and firm with absolutely no play. Stamped to the back of the tongue with a capital letter; J. Fully and clearly hallmarked on one internal side (within different shaped large recessed cartouches) with the Lion passant (Sterling silver), anchor (Birmingham assay) and fancy capital letter 0 - dating her to 1963. Also carries the makers initials; RPH (RPH Jewellery Company) and has a small, hand engraved stock number below. Clearly hallmarked to the opposite internal side (again within recessed, fancy shaped cartouches) with the Lion passant and capital letter; O. Still retains the original silver safety chain. Beautifully made and very comfortable to wear due to her oval shape. Excellent, bright, clean condition with no wear or damage and just a few extremely light and fine (micro) little surface scratches (showing under eyeglass only and are mainly to the inside) commensurate with age - looks to have had very little use, perhaps only high days and holidays.
