Bangle Sterling Silver with Royal Blue Enamel Vintage (7" Length 15.5 Grams)

Fabulous vintage sterling silver (fully hallmarked) very attractive and highly unusual bangle / bracelet (with concealed clasp) set with Royal blue enamel. (Please excuse all the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph). Measures; 7" / 18cm internal circumference, 8mm width and weighs a very respectable 15.5 grams. Beautifully adorned to the front with a bright, diamond cut leaf design - all of which are which are decorated to their slightly concave centres with vivid Royal blue enamel - reflects the light beautifully. Has a crisp engine turned 'pie crust' and 'zig zag' decoration to top and bottom. The back is smooth, highly polished and free from any inscriptions or initials. Fully and clearly hallmarked to the inside (within different shaped, recessed cartouches) with the Lion passant (sterling silver), anchor (Birmingham assay) and fancy scrolled capital letter; O - dating to 1988. Also carries the makers initials; B.LD (Bracelon Limited, 36 Hylton Street, Birmingham - one of the leading jewellery manufacturers of the era) and carries a patent/registration number; PAT NO.1167637. Clearly hallmarked again to the opposite internal side with the Lion Passant and uppercase fancy letter; O. Wonderful concealed clasp (easy to operate) which opens correctly, closing with a very reassuring click. The hinge to the opposite side is true and firm with absolutely no play. Still retains the original silver safety chain (all sealed links) for added piece of mind Beautifully made and very comfortable to wear due to her oval shape. Excellent, bright, clean condition with absolutely no wear or indentations (looks to have had very little, if any use in her 37 years history) and just a few overall extremely light and fine little (micro) surface scratches showing under eyeglass only commensurate with age.
