Beautiful Antique Tabriz Carpet

This is a really beautiful antique Tarbriz carpet with a lovely design and very attractive colour palette dating from around 1930. This has a sharp, defined pattern as the weave is fine with a high knot count. The room size carpet has a delightful colour combination with a soft pale coral field and an allover design of meandering vines and palmettes enclosed by ivory borders of scrolling vines, flanked by guard stripes. There is one very small area of wear to one edge (about 8 cm, see last photo) but overall this is in excellent condition with a good even pile and is clean and ready for use.
