This is a great looking chair, who’s the leather has been beautifully preserved. The colour is best described as deep tan with some lovely areas of chestnut running through. These variations in colour can only really be found in original, hand-dyed leather chairs and the overall effect is very pleasing. This particular chair belonged to only one family, due to the attachment that chairs can bring, the decision to recover it approximately 40 years ago was made. So, the leather is still quite supple and very robust. This is a wonderful example of an original leather club chair that has been loved and enjoyed and will do so for generations to come.
