This absolutely gorgeous Irish double bed has some beautiful remnants of the beds original transfers, the original finish has naturally aged and we have de-nibbed this and black waxed. This bed has gorgeous shaping and particularly attractive oval Ironwork on the frame and legs – a not often seen detail making this bed even more special. Whole frame has been professionally restored and all joints checked for good fit and is sturdy. Original Paint and transfers. Suitable for standard double size mattress 4’6” x 6’3” / 135cm x 190cm Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height. The bed is photographed on slats with our Bordeaux mattresses.
