Black Silk Victorian Mourning Parasol with Lace Trim & Straight Ebonized Wooden Handle

Lovely example. Trimmed in lace and has a straight ebonized handle lightly carved with delicate detail. The interior silk lining is in decent condition, slight fraying in a few small places but the canopy is in good condition and the frame is a great shape. The lace edge has a few very small holes but otherwise in lovely condition. As with all silk parasols, delicacy of fabric will cause fraying and tears over time so keeping it open as little as possible will help.
