Stunning boxed solid silver butter dish and knife with a cut glass liner. Beautiful original fitted box. The silver is hallmarked for the London assay office with the date letter for 1904. The makers mark is for George Jackson and David Fullerton of Bristol. The retailer, the name is stamped into the lid of the box was Goldsmith & Co of Nottingham. Beautiful decoration and shape to the silver dish and a lovely cut design in the glass liner. The combined silver weight is 164 grams.

The silver dish measures 1/2 inch 215 cm tall, 5 3/8 inches 13.7 cm in diameter. The glass centre is 1 1/8 inches 3 cm tall and 3 1/2 inches 9 cm in diameter. The knife is 5 1/4 inches 13.3 cm long. The combined silver weight is 164 grams.

All in excellent condition with no damage or repairs. The box is beautifully fitted and in great condition. The inside is excellent as you can see. Couple of tatty places on the outside of the box but good for it's age.
