Bracelet 9ct Rolled Gold Vintage 1940schunky Curb Link With Love Heart Padlock

Fabulous Vintage 9ct rolled gold (stamped & professionally tested) Ladies very attractive chunky curb link bracelet in the Victorian style with feature love heart padlock. C~1940's. (Please excuse all the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph). Measures; 6 3/4" / 17cm length and weighs a very respectable 11.9 grams. Highly attractive chunky curb links (measure 8mm width) with a big oval link to each end, both of which are clearly stamped in arched script; KOLLMAR QUALITY (Kollmar & Jordan where one of the leading German jewellery manufacturers of the era, based in Pforzheim and established in 1888). Large feature patented love heart padlock (operates correctly) which has a very unusual catch - pushes in sideways rather than clicking up and down (have not seen another in over 40 years) Clearly stamped to the back; BEST ROLLED GOLD PATENT and carries the makers initials (with a triangular shaped cartouche); SP - Friedrich Speidel (again a top German jewellery manufacturer, based in Pforzheim). Still retains her original rolled gold safety chain for added piece of mind (measures 6cm length) and has the added benefit of having a little bolt ring to end so allowing the bracelet to easily fit over the wearers hand if required. Beautifully made and very comfortable to wear. Excellent, bright, clean condition with no damage and just a tiny (micro) bit of overall wear/patina and little surface scratches (mainly to the padlock) commensurate with age.
