Bracelet Sterling Silver Vintage 1971 Chunky Curb Link & Love Heart Padlock

Fabulous vintage solid English Sterling silver (fully hallmarked) Ladies chunky curb link bracelet with traditional love heart feature padlock clasp. Ideal to display charms if desired. (Please excuse all the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph). Measures; 7 1/2" / 19cm total length and weighs a heavy 23.8 grams. Beautiful crisp Sterling silver chunky traditional curb links (measure 7mm width) all of which reflect the light beautifully. Each link is clearly hallmarked (within oblong shaped recessed cartouches) to one side with the Lion Passant - Sterling silver. The central link is stamped with the makers initials; WJS. Big oval sealed link to each end, both of which are again correctly hallmarked with the Lion passant. Large feature secure love heart padlock to centre (measures 2.2cm length x 1.6cm width) which is clearly hallmarked to the back (within different shaped, recessed cartouches) with the Lion passant, anchor (Birmingham assay) and fancy capital letter; W - dating to 1971. Also clearly stamped with the makers initials; WJS (which shows the padlock is original to the bracelet). Opens correctly, closing tightly with a very reassuring click. Still retains her original silver safety chain for added piece of mind. Beautifully made and very comfortable to wear. Excellent, bright, clean condition with no wear or damage (looks to have had very little use - perhaps only high days and holidays) and just a few overall very light and fine little (micro) surface scratches (showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age.
