Brass Gimbal Ships Lamp, Wall Hung or Table Lamp This is a very attractive piece, the lamp originated from a boat, it has a gimbal action which when the boat sways from time to time the original oil lamp would remain upright. The oil lamp has been replaced with a normal electric fitting. This heavy lamp works well as a table lamp or it can be easily wall hung. The lamp has relatively new wiring and is in excellent condition, it is 6” across at the base, it is 16” tall. Ref: Tkw71
