Buckle Bangle Sterling Silver Vintage 1977 Excalibur Bracelet 7" L Original Box

Fabulous Vintage solid Sterling silver (fully hallmarked) chunky bangle/bracelet with large feature Victorian style buckle to centre. C~ 1977 (Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth 11). Complete with original presentation box. (Please excuse all the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph). Measures; 7" / 18cm internal circumference and weighs a very respectable 21 grams. Wonderful hand engraved leaf and diamond cut zig zag decoration to front set upon an ornate engine turned background - reflects the light beautifully. Large feature Victorian style hinged buckle to centre which measures 1.7cm square. Opens up correctly (hinge is true and firm with absolutely no play) and closes securely by pushing the end of the bangle through the slot located at the back of buckle and clicking it over the centre pin. Clearly and fully hallmarked to the inside (within different shaped, recessed cartouches) with the Lion passant (Sterling silver), anchor (Birmingham assay) and scrolled capital letter; C - dating to 1977 and carries the left facing head of Queen Elizabeth 11 (to commemorate her Silver Jubilee). The opposite internal side of the bangle is correctly hallmarked with the Lion passant and scrolled capital letter; C and is clearly stamped; EXCALIBUR MADE IN ENGLAND STERLING SILVER. Beautifully made and very comfortable to wear. Excellent, bright, clean condition with no wear or indentations (looks to have had very little use, perhaps only high days and holidays) and just a few overall extremely light and fine little (micro) surface scratches showing under eyeglass only commensurate with age. Complete with her original green leatherette box with gold banding which has Royal blue satin to the interior and is clearly stamped in white script; EXCALIBUR STERLING SILVER Hall Marked Hand Engraved.
