The top[ with a butterfly veneer with thumb edge above a curved frieze containing the locking mechanism for the roll top front with marquetry inset panel.
Flanked on either side by narrow panels inlaid with satinwood stringing with gilt mounts at the top.
The interior has three shaped drawers with above a central storage area flanked by small compartments each with hinged doors all inlaid with marquetry panels above a pull out writing surface.
Below are two drawers with gilt handles, each with escutcheons and fully functioning lock and key.
The top sits on four fine cabriole legs with canted top sections with applied gilt mounts finishing with gilt Sabat feet covers to the front legs.
