Burmese Bronze Mandalay Water Buffalo Hka-lauk Clonk Bell

This beautiful antique buffalo bell from central Burma, cast in bronze, shows the traditional ornamental rod-shaped design, even worn with rich warm bronze patina and original clapper. On top of the bell are impressed characters, probably the owner or maker's name in Burmese characters. In good antique condition, expected level of age related wear and tarnish to metal, please refer to detailed photos provided. Approximately 9cm tall, base is 9cm x 4.5cm, and weighs 450g.
