Camphorwood Lined Chest Oriental Carved Linen Trunk

Condition This chest is in very nice condition. Super clean inside and just a few minor scuffs from 80 plus years of use. A shrinkage split on lid but this is solid and has no impact on the integrity of the trunk. See images. Description A camphor chest originals from Asia in a hardwood exterior. Heavily carved on three side with two band of peonies and flush carved handles to each end. Interior is camphor lined with a sliding trinket tray to the top. Handles for the lid are lost in the carved panels. The corners are hand dovetailed and chamfered sitting on bracket feet. All in all it is in superb condition and a really nice piece.
