Description
We present for consideration, this wonderful English brass framed carriage timepiece, originally retailed by Norfolk jewellers William Winlove of Hunstanton. Sitting on its four bum feet, the clocks case has 5 x bevelled glass panels with hand-crafted pierced fretwork to the upper and lower corniches. The Winlove signed white enamelled dial is set with black Arabic numerals, finished with its original pair of blued solid lance hands. On top of the case is a shaped brass carry handle and the clock comes with its original rouge diced Morocco leather travel case, in very good condition. The clocks quality 8-day, rear winding movement with serial number ‘200’, is driven by a jewelled Swiss made platform escapement mechanism, visible through the clocks top glass tablet. It has a single barrel train and is accessed via the clocks rear swing door and comes with a brass winding key. Payment - We Accept: - Debit / Credit Cards. - Bacs Transfer (Faster Payments).
