A lovely late Victorian period carved mahogany bonheur du jour, or ladies writing desk. Well constructed in solid mahogany and embellished with crisply carved decorations throughout. The superstructure with mirrors and a cupboard (opens to reveal a shelved interior). The table with a single drawer and fitted with a sumptuous green leather writing surface. All standing on elegant cabriole legs.
